Abstract

Description

In the context of the conversation Kṛṣṇa has with Arjuna (the Gīta) Kṛṣṇa describes how one can make all of life's actions a sacrifice to the divine and thus avoid the attachment one usually has to the outcome of the action. Kṛṣṇa explains how through prāṇāyāma practices, breath itself can be a sacrifice. In addition the 12 forms of sacrifice and the importance of dietary restraint in a life of sacrifice is discussed.
