We are in the sattvic [sāttvika] phase of Kali Yuga. Life follows nature’s cycle: birth, growth, decay, death. Even enlightened saints face illness and death due to karma (saṃskāra). Using spiritual powers incurs a cost. All saints realize the same Self—returning to the source is life’s goal.
