Saṇskṛta has several methods of converting the original Devanāgarī spelling into the basic Latin alphabet that we use in English. This conversion is called transliteration. The main methods of transliteration include IAST, iTRANS, and Harvard-Kyoto. Early in the history of Babaji being in the USA, Ma Renu modified IAST to make it easier for native English speakers to read and pronounce Saṇskṛta. Many of the early Satsaṅga documents include this modified IAST transliteration. All spellings of any Saṇskṛta word will return items even though the original search was using an alternate spelling.
