This section contains a curation of recordings of weekly classes that reflects years of consistent teaching of the ancient scriptural texts of Yoga philosophy. These are designed to inspire your daily practices and to nurture your spirit by developing balance, resilience, and connection. Topics include āsana, Bhagavad Gītā, Yoga Sūtra of Patañjali, Saṁkhya Kārikā, and others. ( āsana: आसन ; bhagavadgītā: भगवद्गीता ; yogasūtra: योगसूत्र ; Saṁkhya: सङ्ख्या ; Kārikā: कारिका )

  • This is a collection of videos of āsana classes, individual āsana, and series of āsanas. They are intended as a resource to the student of Yoga āsana, and to teachers of āsanas. (āsana : आसन )
  • This storytelling class begins with Babjaji’s Path Unfolds, and is used to open insights and reflections on our own experience living in the world.
  • The Bhagavad Gīta is one of the main yogic scriptures, detailing conversations between Arjuna and Krishna during a battle. (bhagavadgītā: भगवद्गीता ; Arjuna ; अर्जुन : Kṛṣṇa :कृष्ण ) This section contains recordings of classes that follow a traditional format of opening prayers, chanting of the Saṅskṛta śloka of the day, reading commentary by Baba Hari Dass, and discussion. ( saṃskṛta : संस्कृत ; śloka : श्लोक ) These classes discuss today's relevance of this ancient scripture. Current, on-going classes are available on-line at the Mount Madonna Institute on Thursday mornings and Salt Spring Centre locations on Tuesday nights.
  • Kirtan is a constant component of Satsang meetings and rituals. These classes record the basic catalogue of kirtan found in the Satsang. ( kīrtana: कीर्तन )
  • The Sāṃkhya Kārikā reveals how individual human suffering can be brought to an end through an in-depth study of Jñāna Yoga - The Yoga of Knowledge. The Sāṃkhya Kārikā explains the Sāṃkhya Philosophy, which is the foundation of both Yoga and Āyurveda. Babaji infused his teachings with Sāṃkhya wisdom and this class is a rare opportunity to receive the direct transmission of his yogic knowledge through his commentary, even though Babaji left his body in 2018.
  • Every week for almost three decades Babaji made himself available at a Satsang gathering, teaching and modeling that "keeping the company of truth-seekers" is a doorway to peace. At this gathering, in addtion to Gita study and kirtan, there was always a period of meditation and the practice of the very accessible and powerful 8 kriyas, called Swasa Yam. This satsang style gathering is offered every Saturday and includes the 8 kriyas and a period of meditation, establishing regular support fo daily practice and satsang.
  • These classes follow a traditional presentation of the Yoga Sūtra of Patañjali with commentaries by Baba Hari Dass, Swami Vyāsa as translated by Swami Hari Harananada, and by Reverend Jaganath Carrera.
  • An investigation into the 10 principle Upaniṣads according to Śaṅkarācārya with selections of key Saṅskṛta sutra that comprise each Upaniṣad followed by Śaṅkarācārya's word-for-word translation and his commentary.
  • Yantras are physical representations that explain the creation and describe the nature of the sacred. Babaji taught the science of yantra, another doorway to peace. These classes are based on his teaching, explore that science and teach how to make yantras aspart of one's own practice
